Following on from Key Stage 1 where FFT Success for All phonics and Jungle Club is taught, the children in KS2 are taught different spelling strategies, word strings and specific age-related words each week during discrete spelling lessons. Staff follow a progression grid to ensure the National Curriculum is covered.
